Backpacker.com

I was going through my recent issue of Backpacker and I was stoked to read all about their efforts to revamp their website, so today I decided to check it out. The site is awesome, it is chock full of information ranging from local trail recommendation to gear reviews to "how to" videos. I think anyone interested in being outdoors could definitely benefit from this well put together site. Ease of navigation and wealth of information make this newly redesigned site tops. Check it out under the "mountains" section on the right side of this page. Enjoy.

Kris,

Cool! Keep up the good work. Once again the site is awesome.

Yeah, we have a few bugs flying around the new site, trying to fix them as we find them. Thanks for the heads up. The gear list link works now; we're working on the state link.

Wow! The new site is super sweet! I haven't had much time to really dive into it, but the Trimble Mapping tool looks awesome. From a web design point of view- it's very well done and very useful.

Seems like there are a some bugs that still need to be worked out though. I hit a couple dead links (Kris if your listening) from the Rocky Mountain National Park: Sandbeach Lake Loop the Colorado State link and Gear List links don't work.

Thanks for the positive
