My New Ride!!!

I recently picked up this sweet '72 3-speed Schwinn Town and Country trike. I grabbed it because I had one like it in college and always wished I had never gotten rid of it.[gallery] Now it is mine again! Unfortunately while this type of bike is great around a town, especially one like Flagstaff where I went to college, here in the mountains it really does not work too well. Too many brutal hills and I think we might have 500 feet of flat ground in my entire town! So I am going to haul it down to Juice Box's house and store it in his garage. That way when I am in town I can pimp this smooth ride. I can't wait to join up in the pub crawls in this beast! There are a few things I am going to change on it though. I am going to change the handle bars to a wider almost beach cruiser style bars, change the grips to a sweet original green schwinn grips and although I am not sure how much trouble it will be I want to change it from the 3-speed thumb shift to a two speed kickback. OHHH YEAH!!!

Bring it to Manitou for Mardi Gras, you can be in the parade with the hashers!

yeah Hollywood!!! While

yeah Hollywood!!! While toting you around was not my greatest memory of the bike in Flag, I am more partial to the memories of toting the ladies and the booze around. It was a powerful magnet!!!

Sweet! The original grocery

Sweet! The original grocery getter! I have fond memories of sitting in the basket while Yeti taxied me around campus with Rum & Coke Big Gulps in hand. Ahhh, the good old days.

I will take great care of it and wipe it down with a diaper every morning. I've got some wide cruiser bars we can take off the Hollywood and put on it too.

oh man the basket is perfect,

oh man the basket is perfect, in college I could fit a ton of booze it in!!! One nice thing is that this one has handles to easily remove the basket and when it is reinstalled it locks in place. Genius!!

That thing is pretty smooth.

That thing is pretty smooth. Although I think your son is too large to fit in the grocery basket. Perhaps you should swap the basket out for a car seat.
