Pikes Peak Leave No Trace
A few months ago I posted concerning the Leave No Trace Ethics, not only what they are but why they are valuable to adhere to. Well now you can take it a step forward.
Leave No Trace Master Educator Kristen Sherwood has began offering certification classes!! Whoo Hooo!! This is great news for all Front Rangers because we now have a new medium to get our information.

Pikes Peak Leave No Trace's Master Educator Kristen Sherwood is a Pikes Peak Region native who has been living, working and teaching in the Colorado Springs area all her life. She has a passion for wilderness ethics and an extensive background in Natural Resource interpretation. Since 2004, Kristen has been a naturalist, trainerĀ and cavern guide at Cave of the Winds in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Her experience as a Colorado State Park Interpreter and Naturalist and background in Natural Resource management has also helped her develop an effective, memorable teaching style both in and out of the field.What a great way to further your outdoor knowledge base! And while LNT is the main program, Kristen also provides info on upcoming events such as including an upcoming Southern Colorado Mountain Grotto Trainer Course (think caves)!!!!
Yeti is an all around outdoor adventurer, enjoying everything from mountain and road biking, climbing and bouldering, orienteering, skiing, surfing, backpacking, trail running and exploring. Yeti is proud to make his home in the Colorado Mountains with his wife and son.
