Newcastle Werewolf
Things are starting to get a little spooky as we close in on Halloween, and our beers are no exception. Newcastle's Werewolf is dubbed a Blood Red Ale, but listed everywhere as an English Brown Ale. Werewolf is best drunk under a full moon. This 5.0% ABV brew pours to a mahogany colored body, that has a sticky lace that clings to the glass. Werewolf goes down smooth and leaves a malty yet sweet flavor behind.
Many fans of Newcastle's traditional English Brown Ale seem to be a little disappointed with the Werewolf. Relax a little. This is simply a fun novelty beer and a treat amongst the many seasonal and limited releases. This formidable beast will be a great addition to any 21 and up Halloween Party.
