Punkin Ale

To keep in the spirit of things this week's beer of choice is Punkin Ale, from Dogfish Head Brewery. To be fair this beer it truly a brown ale brewed with real pumpkin, and hints of brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice. I'm dialing in on its pumpkin flavor though, and if you're into the pumpkin ales this another one you don't want to miss. This pumpkin tasting brew is available to you in 12 oz. bottle four packs. A problem a lot of you might have though is these 4 packs run around $12.00. I've even seen some shops selling them individually at $4.00 a bottle! It's a steep price, but friends trust me this is definitely one of the better pumpkin flavored beers out there.

This bottle of pumpkin deliciousness hits you with a smooth 7.0% ABV. The body pours to a light amber, with a very thin head and an almost unnoticeable amount of lacing. I said "smooth" above for a reason. These go down quick, easy and you'll find yourself wanting more! Pumpkin ales as well as pumpkin flavored ales don't have a long life, so do yourself a favor and drink 'em up! If you're looking for a good food pairing suggestion I'd go with turkey!

Menikmati,
