Red Banshee

The 2012 Winter OR Show is a wrap! To be honest it was another great time, but an exhausting week. I was glad to come home to a delicious beer to wash my sorrows from the 49ers loss away and go over all my notes from the show. Being back in Colorado, I really wanted a wonderful Colorado beer and I was lucky enough to have some on hand. The beer for the job was Red Banshee from Fort Collins Brewing Company. This delicious Red previously known as Retro Red for the last four years, is brewed with a tasty blend of crystal and wheat malts, added with a soft toasted caramel flavor. It has a light off white head and leaves a moderate lacing on the glass. With a 5.3% ABV and not too sticky of a feel, it's an easy drinker with a good taste. Just what I needed.
